Profile

My name is Lauren Ellis, and I am a Enthusiastic, Ambitious and Creative Hospitality professional. I have dual nationality with the UK and USA and spent my childhood vacations traveling the world with my family. Since leaving school I have been lucky enough to live, study and work in 4 continents, which has developed my understanding of different cultures and International Business. I have always had a keen interest in mathematics and I enjoy using these skills in my work to analyse data to improve processes.

During my Food and Beverage experience working in Restaurants and Hotels I have developed a greater appreciation for fine wines & champagne and the importance they have in complimenting the dining experience. After visiting a selection of high class vineyards and wineries across the globe I decided to improve my knowledge by undertaking a series of Wine Spirit Education Trust (WSET) courses. To date I have completed my level 1 & 2 and I am currently awaiting my results for the advanced level 3 program.

To further develop my understanding of Revenue Management, an area that I have always been very interested in, I am currently studying with eCornell to complete the Revenue Management 360 Certificate.

I am looking for a position where I can utilise my wide breadth of academic knowledge and practical experience. I enjoy working in a positive work environment with highly motivated employees.
